As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter, remaining alert to unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or sensitive business operations, verifying credentials and following post orders for access control and visitor processing.
  • Support a professional presence within a financial services location by assisting with de-escalation, maintaining detailed activity logs, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
