As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Threat Assessment in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring attention. Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, documenting observations, patrols, and response actions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
