Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, training requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed security-related duties.
