As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. An armed guard card or license is required.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures; assist with visitor direction and access control.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific procedures.
