As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Perimeter Security in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to customer and operational needs. Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading docks, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.
