Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the lobby, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, following site protocols for visitors, employees, deliveries, and/or contractors while maintaining professional interactions.
• Support security-related operations involving cash handling areas, ATM surroundings, and other restricted spaces by remaining attentive to activity, following post orders, and communicating promptly during unusual events.
