Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and the public.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Work collaboratively with law enforcement or emergency responders as required by the situation.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
