As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving and armed post involves engaging with people, responding to situations, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, integrity, and teamwork. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or emergencies according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols, especially regarding the handling and use of firearms while on duty.
