Requirements

• Have at least 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or exterior spaces to help support loss prevention efforts, help to deter unauthorized activity, and report suspicious behavior.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or escort activities when appropriate, while maintaining a visible presence and following all post orders, use of force guidelines, and reporting procedures.
