About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a specialized aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and exterior areas.
Monitor for unusual activity, report observations, and document incidents in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while following applicable policies and procedures.
