You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • MUST BE previous Law Enforcement with RPO.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, restricted spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and asset protection efforts.
  • Support cash handling, high-value asset movement, and other sensitive operations as directed by site procedures, maintaining professionalism and attention to detail during security-related assignments.
