As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns in accordance with post orders.
Carry authorized armed equipment while on duty and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal guidelines related to the post.
