About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol-Driver Security Clearance in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed, driving patrol post at an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
  • Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors while following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public response agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and authorization, managing badge and/or visitor processes, and directing deliveries to approved locations.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
