Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas, perimeter lines, entrances, and critical infrastructure spaces, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, issue visitor directions, and coordinate with on-site contacts for deliveries, contractors, and/or service calls.
- Respond to alarms, unusual conditions, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate status updates to supervision and/or local authorities as needed.
- Complete detailed activity and incident reports, document observations from patrols, and monitor cameras and/or other security-related systems when assigned.
