Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter boundaries, with attention to unusual activity and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours security-related operations by checking doors, gates, alarms, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity.
