Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or possess a criminal justice degree.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain required reports, incident documentation, and patrol activity records while following applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
