You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests, staff, and performers. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a CPO certification.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public areas, event spaces, backstage areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas and support credential verification for performers, staff, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
