As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding swiftly to situations as they arise. This armed position involves maintaining a visible presence, providing outstanding customer service, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation while fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

Requirements

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent is required.
Armed Guard Card or License is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those requiring an armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms as required for armed posts at financial institution locations.
