Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking in Oklahoma City, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires both an armed and driving qualification, as you will be responsible for patrolling multiple areas. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and embody our values of reliability, innovation, integrity, and teamwork every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Armed Cleet Security License Required

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical points within the financial institution to help to deter potential risks and report any suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, clients, and visitors.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols when carrying and handling a firearm while on duty.
