As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers to provide assistance and uphold site policies.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or threats specific to a financial institution setting.
