Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking Center in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first, contributing to a secure and welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or persons and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries or directions as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required documentation and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal policies.
