As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for clients and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, with attention to the unique needs of financial institution locations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying identification and access credentials as required for armed posts.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, providing support during incidents at the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to act in accordance with armed post responsibilities, following all applicable regulations and company policies.
