About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Assessment in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public-service agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as required, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
