As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and applicable laws.
  • Maintain required reports and documentation, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with site procedures, training, and applicable regulations.
