Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site requirements.
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to report and address security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to critical situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate response measures.
