As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will engage with people on-site, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, which may include sensitive areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms as part of assigned duties, in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the location.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Remain alert to potential threats or hazards within the aerospace and defense environment, following established procedures to address them as needed.
