Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or potential policy violations to help support daily operations.
  • Support cash handling and other sensitive banking activities by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related response protocols during high-traffic or elevated-risk periods.
