This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Requirements
- A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A corrections officer license is required.
- A law enforcement officer license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, remaining attentive to unusual activity, access concerns, and other security-related issues.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value spaces to help support access control procedures, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity.
- Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies, maintaining professional bearing and handling assigned equipment in a responsible manner.
