As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document observations, incidents, and/or unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
Maintain professional communication with residents, visitors, property personnel, and emergency responders while following applicable armed post requirements.
