You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and irregularities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
