As a Security Officer - Armed Overnight Mobile in Highland Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed and driving officer in a residential community, where you will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to property management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and property activity, verify visitor and/or vendor entry when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, or policy violations according to site expectations.
  • Support a professional living environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine residential security-related interactions in a courteous and respectful manner.
