Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government tax collection location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain required firearms qualifications, licensing, and training, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
