About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Burgaw, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public officials as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Support order at the location by following use of force guidelines, maintaining assigned equipment, and interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public.
