About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol professional at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of security-related experience, or law enforcement, military police, or military experience, is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for controlled and sensitive work areas.
  • Maintain readiness for an armed post by following assigned post orders, handling issued equipment in accordance with policy, and helping to support a professional presence throughout the location.
