About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A minimum of 3 years of security-related experience, or law enforcement, military police, or military experience, is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for controlled and sensitive work areas.
Maintain readiness for an armed post by following assigned post orders, handling issued equipment in accordance with policy, and helping to support a professional presence throughout the location.
