As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III armed certification for roles in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both the interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas, maintaining a visible security-related presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.
Interact professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff, addressing questions or concerns and providing assistance as needed.
Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times, reporting any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Carry and maintain control of authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site management.
