As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
A minimum of six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and screening processes as required by site policies.
Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
