Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrol in Morganfield, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
Report and document any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious behavior according to established procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during critical events or emergencies.
Assist with crowd control and manage disturbances to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
Provide visible armed presence and assistance during patient or visitor emergencies, as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
