Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy Healthcare site, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points, helping to identify unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to control entry and exit in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain readiness for an armed post by following all applicable post orders, licensing requirements, and equipment handling guidelines while supporting security-related operations at the location.
