Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy Healthcare site, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points, helping to identify unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to control entry and exit in accordance with site protocols.
  • Maintain readiness for an armed post by following all applicable post orders, licensing requirements, and equipment handling guidelines while supporting security-related operations at the location.
