Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrol Driver in Jonesboro, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires driving and carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience.
Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related protocols.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or threats, while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Handle and carry assigned firearms responsibly, following all Allied Universal and legal guidelines for armed posts.
