As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all individuals. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the healthcare location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff, visitors, and the public to address concerns and provide information as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols related to armed patrol duties within the healthcare setting.
