Requirements

An armed guard card is required.
A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Perform armed patrol duties throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, conducting regular and random patrols as assigned while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating matters to the appropriate contacts when needed.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access through identification checks, visitor processing, and/or documentation of security-related activity.
Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or property concerns, and communicate professionally with site personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal management.
