Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure throughout.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed records and write reports on all incidents, observations, and activities while on duty.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public, providing assistance and information as needed.
Operate and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment as required by post duties and company policy.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at the government location.
