Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify identification as required by site policies.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including participating in drills and responding to alarms or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
