As a Security Officer Armed Gate Verification in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential community, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with professional communication and customer service. Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card is required.
• A guard card license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and help to deter unauthorized persons and/or prohibited conduct on the property.
• Perform assigned duties at an armed post in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies, maintaining professional presence and sound judgment during interactions and response activities.
