As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
