As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a high-innovation location, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access points, respond to concerns, and document observations while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, deliveries, and/or visitor check-in in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while communicating clearly with personnel and guests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with on-site contacts, and/or requesting public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and service calls with clear, timely reports and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site contacts for follow-up.
