As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and customer concerns with clear communication. You will document activity, coordinate with site leadership and local responders, and model Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture. Level III Armed Certification is required. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years armed security experience.
• Have Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or team members by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal training standards.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
• Monitor entrances, emergency exits, and other key areas for unusual activity, assist with access control as directed, and complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
