As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts while delivering customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Armed Guard Card or License required.

Requirements

• Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Being Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas on a regular and random basis to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor and control access through gates, doors, and/or loading areas; verify credentials as required and direct visitors to appropriate destinations.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide first response support until additional resources arrive as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and/or rule violations in written reports; communicate observations and status updates to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
