You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication and strong customer service. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers a fast-moving environment where you can be agile and reliable, bring innovative thinking, and work with a caring team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Armed Guard License required
• prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required
• Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, and document entries and exits in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and maintain required armed post qualifications and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
