As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, professional communication. You will support customers and staff while documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Perform armed patrol duties, carrying authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable laws and regulations, and maintain weapon retention and control while on post.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter prohibited actions and escalating to law enforcement and/or management as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, ATM areas, office spaces, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
